Natural beauty. Ideal weather. Gorgeous mountains. A charming village feel. And friendly people. Great places to stay, play, eat, shop, and relax. The spirit of adventure is alive and well in Palm Springs, whether golfing in a tournament, sipping cocktails at a poolside reception, or team building on a mountain adventure, our visitors marvel at the truly unique combination of urban activities within our suburban village. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, jeep tours, tramway, museums, spas, nightlife, theater and live entertainment. Or everyone’s favorite, lounging poolside under our big blue skies in the warmth of the sun – we have it all.
Location, location, location… Our enviable location, within 90 driving minutes of San Diego, Orange County (beach cities), and Los Angeles has long made us a favorite for event planners seeking to attract a larger audience. Located 1.5 miles from the Palm Springs International Airport, the Palm Springs Convention Center is walking distance to 1600 hotel rooms and just blocks away from the Heart of Downtown and historic Palm Canyon Drive. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a morning power walk, drive and you miss finding that treasure to take back home.
There’s always something fun happening in Palm Springs with a variety of community and internationally recognized events. The Palm Springs International Film Festival, The BNP Paribas, Palm Springs Modernism Week, Kraft Nabisco LPGA Golf Tournament, The White Party, Stagecoach Country Music Festival, Coachella Music Festival, Palm Springs Restaurant Week and many more. And did we mention our year round VillageFest – which occurs every Thursday evening, as Palm Canyon Drive closes to traffic and transforms into a vibrant pedestrian street fair called VillageFest. It’s a favorite among locals and visitors alike, and many meeting planners opt to begin the evening with a welcome reception, then encourage attendees to enjoy the sights and sounds of downtown and uptown.
